My ward playing Signs!Girls camp was a blast! It was my 2nd year and I was soo excited to come back to camp Lo Mia! The theme was consruction so we were the Cornerstone Creations painters! We got Cute splatterpainted T's that we made ourselves!
The first day we rode up there in the only bus that didnt have AC and we almost passed out! One girl upchucked her breakfast! But when we got there, it felt soo nice to be out in the fresh air! Once we were there, we were swarming around camp trying to get to our cabins. My cabin (yes I got a beaUtiful door dangeling cabin!) was the closest cabin to Moana bridge. Right when you got off the bridge pathway, it was the first thing you saw. In my new stake, the cabins are mixed of different years so there were 2 1st years, 4 2nd years, 2 3rd years, 1 4th year, 2 YCLS, and 2 cabin moms. After the cabin craziness we ate salad lunch and headed out to our rotational workshops. For sport we made paper houses, for craft we made ccccuuute faith blocks, and for spiritual we had "nap time" (haha the lesson was kindof boring). And then we would head off to ward time which was a lot of fun! And then dinner and night activities and stuff like that. It sucked though because this year all of the 1st years already knew about snipes and moana b/c some retards taught them about it at a ward campout! I was soo mad! But we got over it and we went out and did scary games anyways! It was a lot of fun!
The second day we had to wake up at 6:00 for the hike! It was really fun because it was a mile and a half walk through the woods and we got to have a scavenger hunt game thing and they had really good lesson! Also me and Lauren spotted a Lizard a caught it! Then we walked back from the hike and had lunch. Then we went straight to rotations. After Rotations, we had dinner and had free time and I took a shower and it was heavenly! Then we did random games in the cabin and went to bed.
My last day on the third day was an awesome time! In the morning we had tons of free time and my ward was playing my new favorite game called signs! Its an awsome game where everybody playing picks a noise and an action with it and you call everybodys and if you mess up your out! When the fourth years arrived we had a HUGE water fight with balloons, guns, buckets, hoses, you name it! It was crazy! If I wouldn't have worn a poncho, I would have gotten soaked! It was really muddy from the night before too because it had been raining off and on at camp. After we got cleaned up we had lunch and then we had our last rotations. And then we had ward time and we had yummy burgers and stuff, but it sucked because during sprout ball, a flimmsy trunked tree fell right on top of me and it hurt REALLY bad! I had to sit out, but the game was confusing to me anyways because it was a different version. But then we went down to the lodge for a last stake activities. Afterwards we had testimony meeting and it was the best part of camp! For our refreshments, Bishop made homemade Ice Cream and hot chocolate and it was sooo good! After that, I said good bye and had to leave early to drive to San Deigo the next day. I miss girls camp it was a ton of fun!
