I cant even begin to explain what Coronado Island is like! Its the best place to go in the summer! Its in San Diego California. It was even more fun this year because my cousins, Chloe and Hannah came and so did one of my best friends, Hailey Erickson.

The best things to do there are pretty much all outdoors! Its 70 degrees almost all year! The beach is amazing! I love to boogie board, build sand castles, tan, swim, and attempt to body surf (lol!). Other outdoor things to do are go bike riding, running, wave boarding, walks, going to the park, and many other things!

On Sunday we usually go to this one church with this random ward. But this year we were sooo blessed when we went to church on vacation. We were blessed because President Henry B. Eyering was visiting that particular ward. For anyone who forgot, he's the 1st council in the 1st presidency of the church. So he was visiting his daughter who was in that ward. He bore his testimony and it was cool because he talked about working with both President Hinkley and President Monson. Afterwards, I got to go up onto the stand and meet him and shake his hand. He was a very gentle and serious man and it was such an awesome experience! Afterwards we went to a Mexican restaurant that serves the best tortias in the world! Then we went to the airport to pick up Hailey. Afterwards we went to the tide pools where its fun to look at crabs and watch the waves crash against the cliff. That was pretty much all we did that day.

On Monday we woke up and went to the San Diego Zoo. My dad said that it is either the biggest in the country, or in the world, but it was really fun! My favorite was the Panda Bears, the orangutans, and the baby monkeys. The Panda bears were cute because they were sleeping and looked SO cuddly! The Orangutans were hilarious because they were scratching themselves with sticks and were doing summer salts, and the baby monkeys, were baby chimps and they were wearing diapers! Need I say more? After the zoo we ate lunch and went to the beach. It was a great day except the waves weren't very fun for boarding :( ! After that, we went back to the Zoo because its SO big you cant see it all in one morning. Then we went and picked up My 16 and 14 year old cousins Chloe and Hannah. Then we stayed up and talked to them all night and we even laughed so loud, we upset the old lady next door (it was a scary and awkward moment when she came over to shut us up!)

Tuesday we were supposed to rent beach cruiser bikes but the store didn't have any cute ones (how picky our we!? ha ha) so we just walked around and talked and took pictures. Then we went to lunch at Panera Bread which is like te CA version of Paradise Bakery, but I like Panera better. After lunch we went to the beach. After the beach we showered and went out to eat at a Pizza place that has the biggest pizzas I have ever seen. After that we went home and just hung out. But we did go to a walgreens type place and got fake french tipped townails which were really cute, but hillarious! Mine ended up chipping off but Friday. But Hannah and Haileys stayed on.

Wednesday we went shopping. The mall is huge! Its outside, but stacked onto 5 stories. I only got a couple accessories and other stuff because I wasn't in the best shopping mood. Then we ate Panda Express and went to the beach. After the beach we went to Seaport Village which is just a fun place where they have tons of different touristy shops and it was really fun. Afterwards we went home and we walked the main Coronado Street just the girls and we met some random boys along the way who lived there are were like 15 and 16. The only reason we kept talking to them was because the one who talked the most was hillarious! But then we went home and didnt really ever see them again.

Thursday we walked along the main road and shops in the morning and then we went to the beach for Chloe and Hannah's Last time because they had to leave that night. I was soo sad when they left! After they left we went to another mall and I had more success with 3-4 outfits. Then we came home.

Friday Hailey and I were outside almost all day! We did the two person tandom bike which was really scary! Then we waveboarded. We also went to the beach for about 3 hours and then we got home and waveboarded some more and to the park. Then that night we had to pack up.

Saturday we got the car packed up and left! I was soo sad to leave! I cant wait for next year!
